We all have those days. Those days where it feels like we're losing all our battles.
All those different parts of your life that you feel like you've been juggling start to fall. You remember that you can't be all things to all people and you were never meant to be.

When you just feel like throwing your hands up in there air and declaring surrender there's a better option- handing it all over to God and allowing him to fight the battles for you.

It's funny the way God works in his perfect timing. Before I painted this artwork I had a moment where I felt ready to pack it in and decided I needed some quiet time to just be still. The next morning God gave me this verse.
Was it a 'silent' day for me? Not exactly. I finished painting the leaves to the soundtrack of my children squabbling and making a huge mess after I had just told them to clean their rooms for the 126th time.
But I feel like my heart was somewhat silent as I allowed the noise to fade into the background and I focused on these words.
God can help us to be calm and still as the waves of life crash down around us. He is fighting our little everyday battles and he has already won the ultimate battle for us on the cross.
