More than a hot drink.

A coffee out. Sooo good!

It really has the potential to give you a pick me up and brighten your day. But I often wonder- is it just the coffee? (I know it’s not the caffeine because it does absolutely NOTHING to keep me awake.) Living in a country area surrounded by tiny towns and sweet little coffee shops, I really value dropping in for so much more than the coffee.

It’s about spending time with our local friends who gather at the cafes. What we’re REALLY paying for is the friendly smile from the barista. The bickie that you can taste the love in. The unexpected people that you run into. The chin wag with the retired bloke sitting out the front who spends his morning sipping coffee and making everyone’s day a bit brighter.

We’re all chasing connection. Being a part of each other’s lives. Receiving a coffee with art on the cup that has been made BY A REAL PERSON might seem small, but it really can make such a difference as you sip the hot goodness and think about the person who created the art. It warms more than your hands and belly. It warms your heart, too. 🥰

That’s why it’s been such an honour for me to have my art featured on some of Creative Coffee Co’s 12oz cups this summer! When I shared the news on my socials, my followers were just so excited to find a coffee when they’re out and about that has art on it from someone that they know. They’ve been on the journey with me- cheering me on as I paint the little motifs and it feels like they are a part of the story behind the art. It’s just another way for them to know that they’re getting a genuine, REAL experience when they buy a coffee in these cups.
